If you're looking for a suitable place to record your music in the capital, the following studios are definitely good addresses:

Riverside Studios Kreuzberg

Riverside Studios is a unique collective of renowned artists and professionals, located in Berlin's Media Spree, right at the waterfront and close to many of the leading companies in the industry. Riverside Studios is a creative hub that brings together top-class artists and experts from various fields and music genres under one roof.


Tricone Studios at the Funkhaus

One of the city's most beautiful studios, Tricone Studios is a high-end studio built on the Funkhaus grounds back in 1951. Inside, with it´s nostalgic wooden panels on the walls, it offers perfectly balanced spaces to create ideal conditions for recording of any kind.


Studio 25 at the Holzmarkt

Relaxed atmosphere and an experienced team - from voice and vocal recordings to complete band productions - the creative process is the focus here. The control room of Studio 25 is equipped with all common DAWs, even externally created projects can be listened to, edited and mixed without a lengthy setup. A special feature is that the small hall or the outdoor area of the Holzmarkt can be connected live to the control room with 48 channels. This complements the studio as separate, dedicated recording facilities.

Rehearsal rooms for rent

Affordable rehearsal rooms in the city are also rar to find in Berlin. However, if you are looking for a place to rehearse or for a jam session, you can turn to various providers of rehearsal rooms.

Noisy Rooms

The rehearsal rooms can be rented via the website. Musicians can simply register and book the appropriate time slot. A basic set of peripherals such as drums, guitar bass amplifiers and a mixer for vocals is available in the rooms. At the reception counter, there is also the possibility to borrow individual instruments for small money and stock up on strings, sticks, picks and everything else that is needed.


Pirate Studios

Pirate Studios offers high quality rehearsal rooms, but also the possibility to record. All rehearsal rooms are fully equipped and offer different room sizes - whether alone to practice drums or as a complete band. In all music practice rooms you will find the best equipment from Marshall, Boss, Ashdown and other manufacturers.


Super Sessions - music rehearsal rooms in Berlin-Mitte.

Soundproof rehearsal rooms for individual musicians, bands and ensembles with up to 10 musicians*. Equipped with high-quality drum, guitar and bass amplifiers, vocal system and mixer. Some of the rooms also have a piano. 



Located directly on Ku'damm, the Music Box offers fully equipped, soundproofed and air-conditioned rehearsal rooms that can be rented by the hour. There is also a recording studio where you can record anything from demos to a finished album. Music lessons or photo and video shoots are also available. The space can also be rented as an event location for studio concerts, private events and team events. 


Castalian Spring

Just a short walk from the Reinickendorfer Str. subway station, Castalian Spring offers professional music rooms and equipment in acoustically optimized and soundproof rehearsal rooms. This includes amplifiers, vocal equipment and drums, as well as a unique blend of professional and personal service. Rooms are available between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m., seven days a week. 


Bandsupport Berlin 

For young musicians under 25. Bandsupport offers discounted rehearsal rooms with daylight in Neukölln. For only €90 per month, musicians can book the rooms once a week. The rehearsal rooms are available in different sizes. Own equipment can be stored in the storage rooms. 


Concert Venues

There are countless locations for live music. Some of the most popular places for live concerts, where you should definitely apply as an artist or band, you can find here:

Lido describes itself as Kreuzberg's rock-indie-electro-pop living room couch. If you're looking for a live performance venue, you should definitely give the Lido a knock. Almost every evening, a wide variety of concerts take place here - from rock to singer-songwriters, pretty much everything is covered.


Kantine am Berghain, offers a wide variety of music styles: from electro, funk to disco and indie. The small hall, once used as the canteen of the former district heating plant, offers a unique experience.


Schokoladen, in the former chocolate factory on Ackerstraße in Berlin-Mitte is a place where culture and entertainment are offered. It offers a variety of musical genres including punk, pop, ska, rock and indie, complemented by an exciting program of live music, parties and cultural events such as theater and readings.


Bobu Bar, located at Müggelstraße 9 directly at Traveplatz, offers artists the perfect atmosphere for live club concerts. The program includes artists from all kinds of genres, including folk, blues, soul and jazz. Special highlights are the performances of the own house band and the singer-songwriter open stage.

Music Board Berlin

The Music Board is a unique institution in Germany that promotes pop music in a novel way and enlivens the discourse on pop culture in Berlin. It focuses on respect for diversity and content-based music promotion that puts artistic quality and musicians' perspectives at the center. Since its founding in 2013, it has acted as a central point of contact for advice and mediation in Berlin's pop culture music scene. inm - initiative neue musik berlin e.V.

The inm is an umbrella organization of the independent scene of new music, which bundles and represents the interests of the actors of the Berlin scene towards politics and administration. As a funding institution, it is an important part of Berlin's cultural landscape and contributes to strengthening the visibility and professionalization of the contemporary music scene. Project funding is awarded annually, as determined by an independent jury. These activities aim to support innovative event formats and their organization. As a funding institution, it is an important part of Berlin's cultural landscape. It also offers workshops and information events on issues related to working in the independent scene.


Music Pool

Great place to start for music professionals in Berlin who want to gain an insight into the music business and need information, further training and networking contacts for a successful career.
